Fun week of sport – Olympics and Racing!
Looking forward to the Paralympic this evening in the stadium and a fun day out at Silverstone on Sunday watching the VW cup – will be cheering on Joe Fulbrook who has been kind enough to give me the tickets… not only does Joe race but also runs www.maidenheadprint.co.uk, a great local print business!
Peter Jaworowski – famous graphic designers
I’ve been looking around the web for famous graphic designers (namely Wolfgang Weingart) and came across Peter Jaworowski. He’s done some fantastic work in his design studio. Take a look here and prepare to be amazed. Not sure he does freelance though!
Christmas is coming!
Wow, a few months to go but I received some chocolates yesterday for my birthday and they were in packaging with a Christmas design! Its only August!!!
BUT that does mean we all have to start thinking about our Christmas promos, designs and cards!

London 2012!
Been a very exciting 2 weeks… didn’t realise how hooked I would be when the Olympics started.
Was chatting the other day and after all the criticism of the 2012 logo and font, I really do think its worked. Really looks impressive around the park and pulls everything together. A ‘normal’ font just wouldn’t stand out.
Been reading Design Week this morning that Wolf Olins developed the identify – really like his work and wrote one of my design dissertations around him way back at uni!
Very impressed all round, sad I never got a ticket now!
